Miniature Sensors

Model 245-Family Capacitance Liquid Level Sensor
(Representative Device)

The model 245 was designed to be a low cost,
any-liquid detector for a variety of applications, such as: detecting high or low liquid levels in tanks, turning pumps and alarms on or off, and detecting minute leaks of virtually any liquid in tight places.

The Model 245-X is a sensitive version allowing
non-intrusive detection of liquids in non-metallic vessels, tubing or tanks.

Continuous Level Sensors
Model 5303-B System

We provide an optimum design to fulfill your requirements, either a small quantity or a large OEM order.

 *  We will attempt to utilize existing designs to fit the application, thus saving
     manufacturing time and design development.

 *  If that is not feasible, we will design creatively to use as much of an existing
system as possible to fit the application.

 *  For entirely new applications, we work with the customer to design a new
     system.

*  Local or remote systems

*  Will measure virtually any liquid

Continuous Capacitance Liquid Level System
MODEL 5303-B

Features:

The Model 5303-B System is a new version of our highly reliable and most popular continuous liquid level control system. It is by far the most versatile system; below is a list of its most outstanding features:

Miniature Size:  The transmitter is a fraction of the previous size (1 in. wide by 2 in. long) utilizing the latest surface mount technology, and providing a variety of industry standard outputs, and fully adjustable control setpoints.

Versatile:  All the options are in the same transmitter PC Board, plus the same transmitter can handle probes as small as one inch long, to 60 feet long with a minor component change.

Low Cost:  By combining several features into one module, and utilizing the latest technology, manufacturing costs are greatly reduced when larger quantities are made.

Reliable:  Because we have been innovators in capacitance systems for over

47 years with several U.S. patents, and our experience in hundreds of different applications, we have achieved constant improvement in the performance of our systems. We have also had to continuously keep up with the ever-changing electronics technology.

Specifications:

Accuracy:  ±0.1% of Span, or 0.1 inch with most probe systems.

Resolution: ±0.1% of output. The ultimate resolution depends on the output control device, i.e., readout, computer, or PLC (programmable logic controller)

Power in: 10 to 36 VDC, typical @ less than 12 mA. The circuit has an internal voltage regulator, and input voltage polarity reversal protection.
        Output, Std.:  0-5VDC
        Outputs, Opt.: 0-1VDC, 1-5VDC, 4-20 mA
        Other, Special request.

Setpoints:  One or two, fully adjustable, over the span range. These are open collector, FET Solid state switches with a nominal output of 5 Amps.

Dimensions:  PCB for analog output and setpoints: 1.0"X1.5". PCB for above and 4-20mA: 1.0"X2.0".

Probes:  Probes are made to order, size and configuration depend on the application. Some are rigid, and others are flexible. All probes are made with Teflon coverings.
